Samsung cancels huge order

Despite hard times in the South Korean shipbuilding industry, Samsung Heavy Industries has just canceled an order worth more than USD 780 million.

Samsung Heavy Industries announced Friday that the yard had canceled an order worth KRW 907.6 billion (USD 783 million). The order covers one of the major offshore Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading installations (FPSO), writes Reuters.
