Gdansk container port had a record 2016

The container terminal in the Polish major port Gdansk had its best year ever measured in traffic in 2016. "Our challenge is to attract new services," says CEO Cameron Thorpe.

Deepwater Container Terminal Gdansk experienced its largest ever container throughput in 2016 as a total of 1.3 million teu passed through the Baltic Sea port. This was an increase from 1.06 million teu in 2015.
