Trafigura CEO: Continued oversupply on the oil market

2017 has been a year characterized by continued oversupply on the market for oil and oil products, says Trafigura's CEO in relation to the commodity trader's annual report. But the situation already looks brighter starting next year.

The oil market was still plagued by excess supply in 2017, a factor that made it harder to make money on speculative trading in oil as well as oil products such as bunker fuel oil for ships, says the CEO of one of the world's largest trading houses, Trafigura, which has already published its annual report for 2017.
