HSH Nordbank has found its new owners

The sale of HSH Nordbank has been settled. The soon-to-be former owners, German federal states Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, have announced the bank's future at a press conference Wednesday.

German states Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein have agreed on a sale of HSH Nordbank after negotiating for months. At a press conference, the federal states have now presented the bank's future, today Wednesday – the very day when the deadline to find a buyer for the bank expires at midnight.
