Nordea slashes 80 percent of losses on shipping and offshore in 2018

Provisions on loans for shipping and offshore were reduced significantly at Nordea in 2018, shows the bank's annual report.

Nordea has in 2018 reduced its provisions and losses related to customers in shipping and significantly, show the bank's results Wednesday.

The bank's combined loan loss provisions went down almost 80 percent in the past year, finishing at a deficit of EUR 13 million against a loss of EUR 137 million in 2017.
