Court rejects former Brightoil chairman's appeal in bankruptcy case

A court in Hong Kong has rejected an appeal from former chairman and CEO of bunker company Brightoil Petroleum in a case of personal bankruptcy.

The former chairman and CEO of strained bunker company Brightoil Petroleum has had his appeal rejected by a Hong Kong court in a case of personal bankruptcy.

Earlier this year, Sit Kwong Lam was declared personally bankrupt. He appealed this ruling, but a court in Hong Kong has now rejected his appeal, reports Ship & Bunker.
