Greek national bank sells shipping loans for EUR 262 million

Greece's national bank has sold a portfolio of shipping loans of EUR 262 million to a series of investment funds.

The National Bank of Greece, NBG, is selling a portfolio of shipping loans totaling EUR 262 million, says the bank in a press release.

A series of investment funds buys the portfolio of shipping loans, and the sale happens as part of the bank's strategy to reduce its non-performing loans.
