Skuld wants to be bigger in marine insurance – looking to grow by more than the market

Marine insurer Skuld wants to control a bigger share of the market for marine insurance, after the company added more tonnage in 2019. Like big parts of the shipping sector, the company is currently feeling the consequences of the coronavirus outbreak.

Skuld plans to control a bigger part of the market for marine insurance, where the company currently controls close to one tenth.

The company recently reported that it has added 4.6 percent more tonnage to its books after negotiations have been completed, so that it now insures 95.3 million gross tons.
