DNV: Gas will be the new black

When Norwegian certification bureau Det Norske Veritas (DNV) is asked to outline the future, three words stand out: Smarter, greener, and safer. The big thing will be LNG gas, says CEO Henrik Madsen.

OSLO: LNG gas is already on the rise and will get bigger in 2020. That's one of the perspectives for the shipping industry by 2020, says CEO of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Henrik O. Madsen:

"We have a lot of faith in LNG gas. Floating LNG terminals and everything related to natural gas will grow," he tells ShippingWatch, adding:
