NordLB calls for caution in the shipping market

The major German shipping bank NordLB managed to reduce its shipping exposure slightly in the first half of the year, and the bank points out that the shipping market is still is still fraught with risks.

NordLB finished the first half of the year with impairments on shipping, which means that the bank's combined result exceeds the budget, as more Euros were spent on risk provisioning - especially on shipping - than planned.
