Lloyd Fonds will have 30 ships in two years

Lloyd Fonds will continue to invest in KG ships and expects to have a fleet of 25-30 vessels in just two years. And the Hamburg-based company plans to focus exclusively on shipping, CEO Torsten Teichert tells ShippingWatch.

Lloyd Fonds' new plan to be a company that acquires KG ships is far from completed with the 11 vessels that the investment company already has its eyes set on.

"If we follow through on our plans here, and it moves us in the right direction, then I wouldn't be surprised if we had 25 to 30 ships or even more in our fleet within two years from now. There's a big interest in the model we've presented and I believe that will continue, if we can prove quickly that we're a significant player in the shipping industry," says Torsten Teichert, CEO of Lloyd Fonds, in an interview with ShippingWatch.
