Boskalis' result boosted by Suez Canal

The Dutch marine and service group improved its net result in 2015, but the projections for the upcoming period are subdued, Boskalis writes in its 2015 annual report.

The Dutch marine and service group Royal Boskalis Westminster achieved a net profit of EUR 440 million in 2015, a year in which revenue increased two percent to about EUR 3.2 billion. In particular, Boskalis' projects in relation to the expansion of the Suez Canal contributed to the gains, while the result for the group's towage and salvage activities declined compared to the previous year, according to the 2015 annual report. published Wednesday.
