Samskip completes major Norwegian acquisition

Icelandic carrier Samskip acquires Euro Container Line AS. The move marks Samskip's second purchase in a short time, after picking up a 50 percent stake in reefer carrier Silver Green.

Icelandic Samskip has concluded the acquisition of Euro Container Line AS with a view to strengthening the shipping and logistics company's presence in Norway and the surrounding region.
