"If Panalpina has its own planes, DSV should have its own ships"

So says Michael Nielsen, one of the shipper executives often listened to, and who has for years been heading Caterpillar's Asia transport. He presents what he believes is a good idea for the new DSV Panalpina in an interview with ShippingWatch.

Panalpina is strong in air freight and not least in shipping fruit and other perishable goods. As such, the Swiss-based company has an aerial fleet handling the actual transport when flowers and other sensitive goods have to cross the Atlantic or Pacific.
