Diamond S confident in tanker recovery in H2 despite deficit

Tanker company Diamond S finished the second quarter with a new deficit. However, this does not dampen the operator's expectations of an approaching tanker recovery.

Although product tanker operator Diamond S once again books a deficit, the company maintains expectations for an impending turnaround on the tanker market.

The second quarter ended with a deficit of USD 8.5 million. Despite the red figures, this is an improvement on the same quarter last year, when the deficit came to USD 19.5 million, according to the interim report.
