Monjasa buys five tanker vessels

Monjasa purchases five tanker ships, of which four are already part of the fleet on bareboat charters. The purchases are part of the bunker company's preparations for 2020, CEO Anders Østergaard says.

Bunker company Monjasa has purchased five tanker vessels, of which four were already chartered into the fleet.

The five ships are Århus, Delhi, Amsterdam, Accra and Annie. Annie is a newcomer, while the others were on bareboat charters.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
