Industry players to post billions into Singapore's maritime sector

Singapore's maritime industry can expect investments of up to SGD 20 billion until 2024, which will generate new jobs in the sector, says the city-state's transport minister.

The maritime industry in Singapore can look forward to investments of up to SGD 20 billion, equivalent to roughly USD 15 billion, which will create new jobs in the city-state over the next few years, announced the city-state's Minister of Transport Chee Hong Tat when he participated in a parliamentary debate last week, writes Singapore daily The Straits Times.
