Eagle Bulk continues fleet expansion with new vessel purchases

US-based Eagle Bulk is moving forward with plans to renew its fleet by adding two Ultramax bulkcarriers. With these recent additions, the fleet now comprises 53 vessels.

The US-based dry bulk operator Eagle Bulk is purchasing two second-hand dry bulk vessels as part of an extensive fleet renewal.

Eagle Bulk will acquire the 2015-built Ultramax vessels for a total price of USD 44 million and expects to have them delivered sometime in the third quarter of 2021.
