Queue outside Long Beach slightly shorter – like the same time last year

78 container ships were waiting outside the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles on Feb. 8, which is a considerable improvement upon the 109 vessels queuing up a month ago. There’s reason to be optimistic, says Flexport chief economist. Analyst reminds that the drop may be seasonal.

The line of container ships waiting outside the terminals in Long Beach and Los Angeles on the US west coast has become slightly shorter, which may be good news for carriers and shippers.
