Cosco takes the throne in toxic project cargo market

Entering 2018, China's Cosco took the position as the world's largest multipurpose carrier in the crisis-stricken sector, while the Stadil family's Thorco Projects is shrinking its fleet, shows a new review.

China's Cosco became the world's biggest operator of project cargo – multipurpose (MPP) – in 2018.

Meanwhile, Danish Thorco Projects has distinguished itself as the carrier in the top ten which has carried out the largest fleet reduction, shows a new review from Dutch analyst and consultant firm Dynamar.
