Oldendorff sells 13 ships and charters them back

Over the summer, German dry bulk operator Oldendorff has sold 13 ships to an Asian buyer that will lease them back to Oldendorff immediately.

Oldendorff, which has one of the world's largest dry bulk fleets, has now joined the long list of companies that use the popular leasing agreements in which a vessel is sold and leased back immediately.
