Norvic Shipping appoints new CFO

Norvic Shipping has appointed a new CFO. Chief Executive Peter Borup has been working on setting up a new management team since joining the carrier in mid-2018.

Canadian bulk carrier Norvic Shipping has appointed Urs Dür as CFO, who is stepping into the role with immediate effect, according to a press release.

Dür has been worked in shipping for 20 years and has served as CFO of Guardian Navigation and Valhalla Shipping. A US citizen, Dür will be based in Norvic's New York office and is taking over the role from Adir Katzav who stepped down in August.
