Ultrabulk lands best result since 2010

In 2018, Ultrabulk booked the best result in many years, and the carrier's CEO is also looking positively at 2019. Revenue rounded USD one billion last year.

Bulk carrier Ultrabulk was back on track in 2018 after a 2017 which saw the carrier booked a deficit for the first time.

With a USD 15.5 million profit after tax, Ultrabulk has not just turned around the trend – the result is the best since 2010. At the same time, revenue exceeded USD 1 billion as a consequence of higher rates, while the operating result landed at USD 19.3 million.
