Norvic considers raising new capital

It is not unlikely that dry bulk operator Norvic Shipping will raise fresh capital within the near future. This would be spent on landing longer-term loading contracts with terms of up to ten years, CEO Peter Borup tells ShippingWatch.

Dry bulk operator Norvic Shipping sees big opportunities in landing loading contracts spanning years to supplement its existing business.

Although Norvic is presently a pure-play operator that typically works with short-term loading and charter contracts for ships in the bulk market, Chief Executive Peter Borup sees potential in the fact that Norvic will enter longer-term contracts spanning five to ten years in the future.
