Polaris to remove fuel from stranded dry bulk vessel

South Korean shipowner Polaris Shipping is preparing to empty the tanks of fuel on a dry bulk vessel stranded off the coast of Brazil.

South Korean shipowner Polaris Shipping is preparing to remove bunker fuel oil from its stranded vessel Stellar Banner, writes the shipping company in a press release, report several media.

With the help of Vale and others, Polaris Shipping will send a bunker barge out to the stranded ship to offload the remaining 3,500 tons of fuel and 140 tons of gas oil.
