Fredriksen's Golden Ocean appoints new chief executive

Golden Ocean has found its permanent replacement for Birgitte Vartdal, who stepped down as CEO last year. The company has tapped the chief executive of a gas shipping company, who will, among other things, "explore new opportunities for growth and consolidation." (Updated)
