Martin Fruergaard replaces Mats Berglund as CEO of Pacific Basin

Mats Berglund steps down as CEO of Hong Kong-based dry bulk operator Pacific Basin. He will be replaced by Ultragas Chief Executive Martin Fruergaard, says the shipping company.

After heading dry bulk major Pacific Basin for almost a decade, Swedish Mats Berglund has decided to step down as CEO, says the company in a press release.

Berglund will be replaced by Dane Martin Fruergaard, whose background includes 26 years at Maersk, and who will take over as new chief executive officer of the Hong Kong-based shipping company in July this year.
