Shipbroker Simpson Spence Young opens office in Athens

With its first office in Greece, the shipbroker Simpson Spence Young aims to service the local dry bulk market to begin with.

London-based shipbroker Simpson Spence Young (SSY) has opened its first office in Greece, where the company initially seeks to offer its services on the dry bulk area, according to a press release.

Within dry bulk, SSY focuses on ships in sizes Cape, Panamax and Handy Supra. SSY has 400 employees in offices around large parts of the world, including several places in Europe, however, up until now, the company has not been active in Athens.
