Lauritzen Bulkers lands significant profit following ten years of deficits

Lauritzen Bulkers brought home a triple-digit million-dollar profit in 2021 after ten years of losses. Now, the dry bulk carrier wants to grow again and has established a new business leg for purchase and sales of ships, CEO Niels Josefsen tells ShippingWatch.

They have waited for a long time, and the owner, the Lauritzen Fund, has been assuring them of its patience and willingness not to cut the financial lifeline, which has kept the old dry bulk carrier Lauritzen Bulkers above water the past ten years.
