UN report recommends extending deal on grain export from Ukraine's harbors

Seaborne grain exports from Ukraine via the Black Sea are growing thanks to the deal on opening the country’s ports, in which the United Nations took part. A new UN report recommends extending the deal, which has led to reduced prices on food globally.

The UN-supported agreement to export crops from Ukraine during Russia’s invasion has been crucial to ensuring global food supply, and the deal should as such be extended once it expires in November, as recommended in a report by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
