Argentine grain inspectors have launched a strike, and this halts shipments of grain from ports in the crucial transport hub Rosario.

The inspectors will not work for 24 hours as a sign protest against the taxation of wages along with regulation that sets a limit to the number of terminals that can be operated in the nation’s capital, Buenos Aires, reports GCaptain.

The news outlet adds that inspectors allegedly plan to launch similar strikes other places in the country, including the capital.

Argentina is the world’s largest exporter of soybean oil and meal, and the world’s third-largest exporter of corn.
