Major merger could be first step in dry bulk consolidation wave

The dry bulk market can look forward to more mergers and acquisitions in the coming years, says British analyst firm Drewry after the two carriers Star Bulk and Eagle Bulk recently announced plans to merge at the beginning of next year.
