Oldendorff to install rotor sails on large bulker

Three rotor sails from a Finnish supplier will reduce CO2 emissions on the German bulk major’s post-panamax ship.

German shipping company Oldendorff, one of the world’s largest dry bulk carriers, has decided to equip one of its modern ships, a post-panamax vessel, with rotor sails to reduce fuel consumption, according to a press release from the supplier of the sails, Finnish Norsepower.
