Lauritzen Bulkers is in talks to acquire operator

The carrier needs to grow, as increased regulation makes it more expensive and complex to be medium-sized, says chief executive.

After three consecutive years with a positive bottom line, Lauritzen Bulkers wants to accelerate its growth through acquisitions, and the carrier is in negotiations to take over a competitor, chief executive Niels Josefsen confirms.
