Norden brings in new Head of Tech Dept. from Maersk

While many carriers are outsourcing their technical departments, Norden is expanding its own with a new setup ahead of the carrier's significant fleet expansion of owned ships and newbuildings.

With the prospects of Norden's owned fleet growing significantly in the years to come, due to the carrier's significant newbuilding program, the company has reorganized its entire Technical Department and has brought in Asger Lauritsen, formerly of Maersk, as new head of the Technical Department, says Norden in its news magazine Norden News, which will be published on Friday.
