This is the plan for Thoresen's new dry bulk pool

Thoresen Shipping's new Supramax dry bulk pool will cover a significant number of ships, Director Henrik Jeremiassen tells ShippingWatch. Learn how many and read about the ambitions for the pool, which is already in talks with other carriers looking to join.

Even though Thoresen Shipping's own ships so far represent the entire fleet of the new dry bulk pool "Thoresen Grabulk Pool," which was launched last week, the new pool has clear growth ambitions. An expansion could be imminent, as the pool - according to ShippingWatch's sources - is talking to several players from various parts of the world. The pool is allegedly in talks with everything from tiny carriers with one or two vessels to major investment companies with many ships.

The pool will feature modern Panamax ships and include Thoresen's own, new Supramax vessels, around 15 of the carrier's fleet of a total 25 vessels, according to Director of the company's Danish office, Henrik Jeremiassen, who will serve as head of the pool.
