Analysis: Major discount on newer dry bulk vessels
The price for a modern Handysize vessel in dry bulk has never been lower, according to a new analysis. For a vessel under five years old the discount can currently reach up to 40 percent, writes Allied Shipbroking.

It has not been cheaper to purchase a modern used Handysize ship since 2011, and it makes sense to invest in spite of the fact that the dry bulk market does not look very promising at the moment, notes Greek shipbroker Allied Shipbroking in an analysis.
