Scorpio Bulkers confirms sale of newbuildings

Major listed carrier Scorpio Bulkers confirmed late Tuesday that the company has sold seven newbuildings for USD 290 million, a move that reduces the orderbook to 65 vessels.

Dry bulk carrier Scorpio Bulkers confirmed after the stock exchange closed on Tuesday that the company is selling seven vessels from its orderbook for a total price of USD 290 million.

The divestment involves three Capesizes, a Kamsarmax and three large LR1 product tankers.
