Management of Hong Kong-based dry bulk carrier Pacific Basin describes the first six months of 2015 as the worst half year ever experienced by the industry, according to the second quarter interim report, published Thursday. Even though the group in this period delivered a USD 5.8 million net result, following a deficit of USD 90.7 million in the same period last year.

In its core business, dry bulk, Pacific Basin had a net deficit in the first six months of USD 15.4 million.
