China's new coal plan bad news for bulk sector

China pledges to reduce emissions from coal power plants, a key factor in the country's comprehensive air pollution. Inefficient coal plants will be shut down.

China will now upgrade the country's coal-fired power plants, thus in one swoop reducing the amount of harmful emissions from the plants by 60 percent ahead of 2020, according to senior officials form the Chinese government.
