
The downturn on the commodity markets has put the oil and mining companies under renewed pressure to find new ways to save money or reduce payments to investors, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The commodity companies look like they will have to hunt down new savings as hopes of a recovery in the commodity market have now been diminished with China's lack of demand.
