According to the shipping index from UK-based Drewry, the market values of the major dry bulk carriers were almost cut in half in 2015. Everyone was wrong about the decline in the dry bulk crisis, notes analyst agency Drewry.

Market values at the trend-setting dry bulk carriers were virtually cut in half in 2015 following the slowdown in China's economy, which has resulted in huge losses with no guarantee that rock bottom has been reached yet.
