Cosco signs 27-year contract with Brazil's Vale

Newly-established Cosco Shipping has just signed a 27-year agreement with Brazilian mining company Vale for the transport of iron ore.

Cosco Shipping entered into a 27-year contract with Vale Friday to transport 16 million tons of iron ore annually for the Brazilian mining giant, according to a Cosco press release. The agreement will enter into force in the first half of 2018.
