Diana Shipping's deficit grows big-time in Q1

The Greek-based carrier booked a USD 32.2 million deficit in the first three months of the year, a significant setback compared to the same period last year.

Diana Shipping, listed in New York and often cited as one of the more robust carriers in the current dry bulk downturn, suffered a USD 32.2 million net deficit in the first quarter 2016 against a net loss of USD 12.2 million in the same period last year.
