Losses at eight bulk carriers could reach astronomic heights

The combined losses in the circle of eight NYSE-listed dry bulk carriers could reach USD one billion in 2016, according to Alphabulk. Norwegian Golden Ocean started the year with the biggest deficit of them all.

The financial losses among the eight largest listed dry bulk carriers on the New York Stock Exchange could reach one billion dollars for the full year 2016 based on their results in the first quarter, and under the assumption that the depression in the dry bulk market will last throughout the year, as many expect it to.
