Scorpio Bulkers booked a USD 25 million net loss

USA-Monaco based bulk carrier Scorpio Bulkers delivered a minus of USD 24.7 million in the second quarter of 2016, pushing the carrier's deficit up to USD 83 million, reads the latest financial report.

Scorpio Bulkers has opened the half-yearly report season in the ailing bulk industry with a minus, pushing up the deficit for a carrier whichwas otherwise popular not so many years ago.

After tax, the New York and Monaco based carrier booked a loss of USD 24.7 million in the second quarter of this year, pushing the accumulated deficit for the first half year up by USD 83 million.
