DryShips books big new deficit

Major operating deficits and bottom line losses at Greek-based DryShips, which is currently in the midst of negotiations with creditors to restructure the carrier's debt.

Greek DryShips booked a net loss of USD 9.1 million and a negative operating result (EBITDA) of USD 10.1 million in the second quarter this year, according to a financial report from the ailing company.
