Fortescue increases iron ore transport

Australian mining company Fortescue has increased iron ore transports in the latest quarter of fiscal year 2016/2017. Meanwhile, the company has also reduced expenses and debt.

Australian mining company Fortescue has shipped an increased amount of iron ore in the past quarter of fiscal year 2016/2017.

The company writes in a statement Thursday that 43.8 million tons of iron ore were shipped from July to September. This constitutes an increase of five percent compared to the preceding quarter.
