Celsius among the five largest bulk buyers

Five carriers, including Celsius Shipping, have bought bulk vessels for close to USD one billion in the past year, according to a survey from Vesselsvalue.

With record-low ship asset values in recent years, five bulk owners stand out as the largest buyers of bulk vessels. Danish-based Celsius Shipping, backed by an unknown capital fund, is number five with the purchase of bulk vessels for a total USD 167 million.
