Spliethoff orders six new MPP vessels

In the midst of one of the worst crises ever for the specialized carriers in the MPP sector, one of the major players in the field, Dutch Spliethoff, has contracted six large newbuildings from a Chinese shipbuilder.

Spliethoff, based in the Netherlands and one of the biggest global operators in the strained multipurpose and heavy lift sector, has placed an order for a total six newbuildings from China's Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding, informs Spliethoff.
